Some of the construction ideas are very inspired. I'll be using some your
ideas soon:)

Amazing how the best ideas are about the cheapest! I've been doin that for a
while and have some battered posterboards to show for it:)

No, not as long as their backs are turned! Actually, there's nothing wrong
in being competitive, as competition breeds innovation.
But there's nothing wrong to being true to what you want to do. You design
sensibilities are much different from mine, and that's something to be
pretty happy with. You can make things I cannot, and vice versa. I try to
stay and progress along my line and see what others do. I learn a lot from
what I see and read on LUGNET and B-shelf. And from that, I try new ideas
and see what happens.
This particular thought about colors basically changed my Squid fin MOC I
was working on..originally, it was going to be a grey creature. But the more
I thought about it, the more I wanted to give it color. So I did. And the
results aren't bad at all! So regardless of how your Commodore was recieved,
it made a positive impact on me.

You had a good thought to ponder!
