    Snapshot —John Henry Kruer
I've decided to start trying the Organic Alien Fighter Thing (TM, R, SM, etc). (URL) coming is Variations on a Theme on Jon Palmer's Bison. They should be finished in a few days, or maybe longer, depending on whether ozbricks.net is up or not. And (...) (22 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Snapshot —Kyle Keppler
(...) Groovy. But you should try and beef up the part where the wings meet the ship. And that red looks really outta place. Try somthing clear or trans smoke.. --Kyle (URL) (22 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

         Re: Snapshot —John Henry Kruer
(...) Oh, it's not finished. I still have that part to work on, then add an engine. (...) I don't have any other colors, and no other canopy I have works! :-/ (Keep in mind that I'm only thirteen, and that practiclly every green or brown part and (...)         Re: Snapshot —Gil Shaw
Nifty. I really like that top spar...the angle on it is excellent. Does it all articulate on that black 1x2 hinge at the back? The general shape is very reminiscent of Adrian's Blood Moon. I know the pain of having the right piece, but perhaps not (...) (22 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

         Re: Snapshot —John Henry Kruer
(...) Yeah, it uses the 1x2 hinge. I would of used a click hinge, but I don't want to strain my click hinge resources any more. The inspiration came from a partially folded-up music stand, and then I noticed that it resembled the Blood Moon. That (...) (22 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Hey hey!! Great news! You'll never be short on grey again!!! My wife and me Mum surprised me with the same on the 25th...just about to start building it this morning! Good stuff. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 27-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Snapshot —Leonard Hoffman
Awesome! The organic feel is really coming through, I espeically like the use of the wood pieces to accentuate the organicness. I really like brown right now for space creations, and mixed with the blue is real nice. the canopy you're using (which i (...) (22 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

         Re: Snapshot —John Henry Kruer
(...) I like brown, too. But I don't have much-that's why I used the wood pieces, having some western sets, I have them in bulk. Now that I look closely, they do seem to fit the organic 'look.' (...) I could use the inverted black canopy found in (...) (22 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Snapshot —Mark Nelson
(...) Ack!! I'll have to buy those rights from you for when I post my Swarmfighter. That is, once I finish it, at least... (...) Unlike everybody else, it seems, I personally like the red canopy. It seems to fit with the brown. Just my humble (...) (22 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) :) Consult my lawyers. (...) I think it does, too, in factm but if other people don't like it, I'm willing to change it. But I think I'll just have to keep it for now, the $3.50 I have now ain't gonna get me anywere. (...) Who knows what the (...) (22 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

        Re: Snapshot —John P. Henderson
(...) Normally I would not say the red canopy looks that great with brown. However, there are three things to consider about this model that could make trans-red acceptable: 1) It is presented as an "organic" craft, and strange color combinations (...)    (...) I like you reasoning! ;-) Alien MOCs are cool. (...) More excellent reasoning... (dang, it seems like anything will work for alien craft!) (...) I don't get the reference... don't watch many movies. :-/ (...) Hey, thanks! I like green, but I (...) (22 years ago, 27-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)
