Lame Parts II - Let the building begin.

Alrightey then, There's been so many good responses that I've decided to ditch the poll idea as unecessarily delaying the whole process. I can't wait to see some creations. So... Instead of the poll I'm making the parts list longer and splitting the (...) (22 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Lame Parts II - Let the building begin.

Hmm..very interesting. I think I'll be hard pressed to come up with the parts as I've basically dwelled in Space all these years. Um, that didn't quite come out right. At any rate, it will be fun trying to made do with what parts of these I have. (...) (22 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

(...) LOL! Well, Anne, it looks like you and I might have to meet up before the LUGOLA meeting in order to swap a few parts. I've got all the parts on that list (except 3,4,9)-so loaning/trading you some for a model wouldn't be a problem. Hmmm...a (...) (22 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Hey Allister, Great contest! I spent four hours getting a ship built last night. I will email you pictures as soon as I get them done. What a blast! I haven't had so much fun building in a long time. It was quite a challenge. I had all the pieces (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Hey Allister, I forgot to ask in my other post. What are the prizes? Bellville fairies for the grand prize and Scala teddy bears for the runners up? Josh (22 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Lame Parts II - Let the building begin.

(...) That's what it's all about :) (...) Impressive. I certainly wouldn't suggest that anyone go out and buy Galidor, or any other set for that matter, just for the sake of this competition, but nine out of ten of the parts is going to be hard to (...)   Re: Lame Parts II - Let the building begin.

Hi Allister, Firstly I have to say this is a way cool idea. There's nothing like a bit of restriction to release the creative power.   Re: Lame Parts II - Let the building begin.

(...) I've never actually seen a lego football in the 'flesh', so I'm not even sure how big it is. Is it a standard no. of bricks in diameter?   Re: Lame Parts II - Let the building begin.

(...) Regarding connecting the 'football' to other Lego-there are two solutions I can think of that are Lego-only (one is rubber bands and the other is...much more creative.)   Re: Lame Parts II - Let the building begin. (Re: football\soccer ball)

Thanks, James, I appreciate the comments. The brick seperators are a funny thing, because the first time I saw them I thought they were a weird new space piece I didn't know about.
