definitly paul, the best i've found are, in fact, cowboy bebop; i recently
saw the first 5 episodes and just ordered the entire series on 3 dvds,
w/english subtitles from ebay for about $37, and you'll probably be able to
dfind the same (w/the buy now thing)  this set is very new, i think, because
i can't find it being sold anywhere else, only the dvd sets that have like,
4 episodes on each disc which is very tedious.  very interesting ship
design, not to mention an all around wonderful anime, especially the music
;).

Actually, you purchased an illegal bootleg set, most likely from Hong Kong or
Taiwan.  No twenty-six episode series has been released on three discs here in
the US, let alone in Japan.  The minimum is four discs, and that is usually
only in box sets (although some of ADV's releases are exceptions).  Nine
episodes a disk is too many to get any decent quality, heck, seven is pushing
it.  Also, subtitled only is another clue, as most (but not all) US releases
include a dub, with the exceptions being ones that aren't expected to sell too
well, didn't sell well on VHS, or are impossible to dub for various reasons.
And I assure you, Cowboy Bebop did have a dub, and sold extremely well.  The
easiest way to tell the difference before buying, though, is the price and
number of episodes per disc.  While bootlegs are cheaper, the quality is poor
and the creators of the shows get absolutely nothing for their work, which is a
travesty in the case of such great shows like Cowboy Bebop.

lets see... you might try outlaw star, i actually havn't seen any of it
but i believe it is coming to cartoon network this fall, and is similar to
cowboy bebop. (it at least sounds like it'll have interesting ship design lol)

Actually, it aired during the spring, IIRC.  Starting next week, Toonami will
start airing the original Mobile Suit Gundam (0079) in their regular block and
Gundam 08th MS Team, followed by Gundam 0080 (I think) and 0083 when 08th ends
its run.
