  Tim Deering=Timmy (wasRe: Hello)

(...) I don't understand the question, but I'll respond anyway with an answer that is completely unrelated. The 'Timmy' minifig was actually modelled after the one and only Tim Deering. I had suspected this for some time due to his googly-eyes and (...) (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.space) !!

  Re: Hello

(...) Hello, there, Dean. Timmy overpopulation? Well, you know Timmys. Throw one in a cage and a few days later five come out. They multiply like rabbits. :) -JHK (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Hello

(...) Timmy, as we all know, was an avid time traveller. With all his jumping back and forth through history he ended up with multiple copies of himself in this time. The fact that there is soooo many of them is just a sign of the impetuousness of (...) (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New website, new MOCs

(...) What I did is: 1.Take pictures, bright light, full 1 megapixel resolution. (not VGA) 2.a. If the picture is dark in general, crank up brightness, but not so much that the model becomes overexposed. b. Take the pencil tool and set color at pure (...)   Re: Major Cager: Intergalactic Poacher

(...) And you thought the fleebnorks had it bad?! If the Sea Monkeys aren't being caged up, people are discussing how to cook them. And people wonder why they declared war :) I'm very pleased to see the Sea Monkey name becoming a space/aquazone (...) (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

(...) Heya, Dr. H! So... what do you think of Space kits? Seeing as you posted in the .space group and all :-) Cheers, Paul (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Wow

(...) I think that's gold wrapping paper laid/glued over the outside of some curved panel elements. Now if only Lego would make those... mmmmmm, gold-plated curved panels.... *Homer drool* Cheers, Paul (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New website, new MOCs

(...) What effects did you use? I am especially curious about the sandspeeder -- it almost looks like it's a POV-ray! Oh yeah, and all the new MOCs look great, ditto with the web layout. ~Kevin Blocksidge~ www.lugnet.com/~1763 (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: SP1 Rebel Hunter

(...) Well, it looks like a good design. The Rebel Hunter was always one of my favourite sets. I have one request: could you please make the background a light colour? With that black background it's hard to see detail. Cheers, Paul (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Wow

(...) There's quite a few painted parts in there by the look of it, not to mention a few custom stickers. The painting has been done very well I think. Look at the shine on those quater cylinders on the lander.((URL) They almost look like they've (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: SP1 Rebel Hunter

Wow Andrew....pretty cool, I think, since Space Police (I) is one of my most favorite and sought after themes! (Along with M:Tron and Blacktron). Since I'm kinda new to the posting world of Lugnet, I don't really know if someone else has done this (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  SP1 Rebel Hunter

What started out as an attempt to build #6897 Rebel Hunter in SP1 colors, eventually became a complex MLCAD project... which I have to wait a few weeks to build in real life because I didn't actually own all the needed parts. Hmm. But anyway... What (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New website, new MOCs

(...) Thanks, Gil! I just had a little space left in a corner and I remembered reading a New York Times article on near-future space warfare, which included a reference to satellite warfare. So I just stuck a 'bot there. :) Thanks for all the (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New website, new MOCs

(...) Heh... I just got a whole boatload of Javascript and DHTML books from the library. :) Whatch out. (...) Yeah, I might add some new pictures later. (...) Oops! ;) I intended to put a few control panels on the side of the cockpit but I got into (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Wow

Wow! Even if the guy is not perfect in his construction, he has a definite Idea for what he wants and it really shows. Wow. I'm impressed on the interior of the lander. I dunno about all the modified parts, though. -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Thanks! Photography? Bleah. Thank photoshop. The only unedited images can be found in Tim's Place. (...) None! :) That's the original image. (...) Yeah.   Re: Sea Monkey "Squidfin" Recon Pix....

(...) <snip> (...) Joe, The Squidfin is cool! It definitely has a sinister feel to it. Nice organic form too being that it's mainly bricks. The tails/propellers are great! I look forward to the Juggernaut. Btw, your Nautilus (had not seen it before) (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)
