  Re: Scout

(...) Thanks. (...) I did try it with white wheels, but somehow it just didn't look quite right. I used set 1580 as the descendant of this one, and that has black wheels so I figured 'what the hey!' (...) Then again, there haven't been any Pre CS (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Scout

(...) Allister, Ooohh...From those pics alone I'd say you nailed PCS for this baby! The overall design of the Scout works well! Good continuation of the glass curvature via those 2 rows of /---\ hatches. From what I can make out, the engines look (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Better pics soon, but here's a taste. By the time I get around to photographing this properly I might have the 'big' one made as well (what's the emoticon for 'fingers crossed'?) (URL) - also 1,2 & 4 Cheers, Allister (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ogel's Gyro Sub

  Re: Idea: small hatch

Ditto. Hey, that's perfect for my new MOC!!! The original model was 99.99% based on the Republic Cruiser from Episode I. That one met with...an unfortunate demise. The new iteration is going to have modified engines, modified bridge area, and a (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

When I was studying architecture, I learned about space frames and geodesic structures, and (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: lego.kepplah.com down?

(...) Maybe you're jumping to conclusions a little fast. Now if you see the image uploaded to LEGO.com for the builders competition, we'll know he stole it! :-) -Tim (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: lego.kepplah.com down?

(...) Oh, yeah, like we're supposed to actually believe that lame excuse? Come on now, out with the truth...you didn't actually build it did you! You stole the pic from some poor kid and now you're claiming it for your own, but you forgot to steal (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: It's time to party at the Moonbase

(...) Actually the teeth on those parts are set in 15° increments, so they work basically the same as the new ones, but don't look as cool and are more fiddly to work with and require more parts per joint. Just thought I'd mention that before anyone (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)
