Re: Mini 6950 Mobile Rocket Transport

This is great! Everything is just perfect. The usage of parts is just wonderful- my favorite is the control stick in the 1x1 clip. And the claw design for the rocket is a great blend of functionality that yet dosn't look increadibly ugly. Keep it (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Pre CS MOC: The XLL324 "Vant"

Wow! Just like to say that this is great. The angles, the cockpit, and the spaced greeblies all give this ship a cool effect. It looks perfectlly like a space freighter. It just explodes with personality. Everything else has already been said by (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: FlyBot, MothBot, and Ma-in-LawBot

Hey, I love those! The flybot just has a great 'spindly' look about it. I love the personality it has... the head and the position off the legs makes it very easy too like. The Ma-in-Lawbot is great, too. Very funny. And the moth is just plain (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: My Airlock

But is this actually an airlock, or a docking port? I've noticed that alot of the 'airlocks' made here aften feature only one door. They look more like a docking ring to me- anybody opening the door in outer space to go outside would quickly lose (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.space)

Re: Pre CS MOC: The XLL324 "Vant"

  Re: FlyBot, MothBot, and Ma-in-LawBot

(...) Interesting... I was thinking it needed *more* chrome. I actually went back and forth a couple of times on the chrome grills for "feathers" on the back of the wings. And I passed on giving him a silvery derriere. The harpoons add quite a bit (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: FlyBot, MothBot, and Ma-in-LawBot

(...) Nope, didn't use a Portable Bot Factory... but that's not a bad idea. Maybe next time I do photographic instructions, I'll show other bots putting them together. As for the insect theme, someone who spotted the MothBot in my office actually (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Pre CS MOC: The XLL324 "Vant"

WOW! Very utilitarian looking with the downward-facing thrusters and UCS canopy. Looks like it's built as a workhorse, with little attention to aesthetics -- and that's precisely what makes it look so pretty. The old brick adds to the workhorse (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)
