Re: why has lego direct ignored the space theme?

  Re: question about classic space printed 1 x 6 x 5 bricks

(...) That part also has LL2079 on it. I think the geegaw is supposed to be a satellite. I own 1 copy of the set :-) (...) IIRC, those are the only 2 in classic space. It's my guess that 2079 is supposed to be the year. -Tom McD. when replying, Alan (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: I would have been creating models now but the computer is acting weird.

(...) Jesse: Wal*Mart may not have this, but may photo developers do: you can often get your photos on a floppy disk or CD-ROM instead of or in addition to getting them in print form. This might be a good way to get away from the need to scan them. (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Et in Arcadia Lego Redux (New and Improved)

(...) By using server-side includes, you can achieve the same design while still retaining compatibility with other browsers. Look at my web site (URL below in signature) for an example; the design is structurally much the same, but since I use (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.publish.html)

Re: Life On Mars (Re: why has lego direct ignored the space theme?)

(...) It struck me as kind of an extension of Space Port stuff. They just went to another planet with it. Can't verify this but I've also heard people mention that contractually Star Wars must be the extent of the 'space' theme while it is being (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) Nicely done site. It's nice to see new names pop up on LUGNET, but even nicer when a new website pops up as well. -Duane (24 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

RE: Et in Arcadia Lego Redux (New and Improved)

(...) Is it really necessary to use inline frames? Without them, the page would be viewable in Netscape 4 as well. It also helps if you use GET for your forms so that people can easily link to specific models on your page. Just my .02, --Bram Bram (...)   Re: question about classic space printed 1 x 6 x 5 bricks

(...) I'm aware of at least two. One is from 6970 (Beta-I Command Base), and shows the ground-level shot of a standing rocket with a white Classic space guy in the lower right corner, looking up at it. The numbers at the top (six positions) say (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: why has lego direct ignored the space theme?

Brad stated no "Fantasy" space sets. LOM is pretty much an offshoot of the town spaceport subgroup and is not precluded by the agreement. -- Overkill is the only sure kill. SR "Kyle D. Jackson" <flightdeck@sympatic...mblock.ca> wrote in message (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Et in Arcadia Lego Redux (New and Improved)

howD, Et In Arcadia Lego ( (URL) ) has been completely rebuilt for your viewing pleasure... complete w/ a "Jump to" drop-down menu, new "Resources" section, and inline content...   Re: Life On Mars (Re: why has lego direct ignored the space theme?)

because technicaly it isn't in space, its planet based. there is one space ship/shuttle, but thats one set out of a dozen[1]ts that are ground based. Gary [1] theres probably not a dozen, that was lust a guess Bradley Dale <dinosauria_ca@yahoo.ca> (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

question for owners of the classic space beta-1 command base

Is the flag printed or a sticker? If a sticker, does anyone have a scan of the sheet? Also, is the picture on the 1 x 6 x 5 different from the printed 1 x 6 x 5 in the classic space set 926? What does it say, if anything, on the brick from the beta (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)
