Re: Pleiades Bill and the Aces High

Mark, I’ve really come to appreciate your models so much now. The Aces High is just one more example of a great series of unique minifig spaceships you've made in the last couple of years. I really like the use of those clear window pieces. I’ve (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: I would have been creating models now but the computer is acting weird.

(...) Geordan's correct. One does not need a huge collection to build good models. Be creative, solve problems using different methods. That's how you build models, not by amassing huge quantities of pieces. ;-) My collection: (URL) Pejic, over and (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Question for MISB owners (or recent) of 6824

(...) Well, since it's not a big set (I remember having that one) then I would say the instructions in good condition are worth a couple of bucks tops, particularly since the instructions are usually on brickshelf. Since you wanted to open it, and (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Question for MISB owners (or recent) of 6824

G'day folks, I just had a "sealed" Classic Space 6824 arrive from an auction win. I noticed that the box ends weren't glued up like today's boxes. Instead there were just "locking" tabs on the flaps. Since there was no "seal" to be broken to damage (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

snippy>> (...) Another thing, if this Gaea foundation thing that you have talked about or the 900 stud long spacecraft you mentioned, are false and imagined, admit it. Your fellow Lugneteers won't ridicule you if you come clean and admit the truth. (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: I would have been creating models now but the computer is acting weird.

(...) First of all you wouldn't download them to me, you'd zip and email them to me so I could upload them for you to brickshelf. I'm assuming that you're using windows correct? I'm also assuming that your home computer has internet access, right? (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: I would have been creating models now but the computer is acting weird.

(...) I can not simply e-mail the creations to you because I do not know how nor am I certain if I contain the knowledge or the tools to download the pictures to you, Geordan. I also am not sure how to access Microsoft Internet Explorer nor am I (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Oh yeah, one more thing. If you don't want the hassle of uploading the files to brickshelf, I'll do that for you to, you just have to send me the pictures via e-mail. We are looking forward to seeing your creations soon Jesse! (...) snip snip This (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: I would have been creating models now but the computer is acting weird.

First of all, I can't say that my collection is very big, but yet I still manage to build some pretty neat stuff IMHO. Look at Mladen now for instance, his collection isn't very big either and he has stated that before, but he is IMO one of the best (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

I would have been creating models now but the computer is acting weird.

I know that some people, namely Trevor, have been awaiting some models of my space craft and LEGO Space themed vehicles. I am sorry, Trevor, but unless some person in Lugnet Space can help me not only use this program known as LDraw and to help me (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Pleiades Bill and the Aces High

Woohoo! that looks great! love the engines on the back. I love lego models that look luxourious (sp) and comfortable inside. Yours combines a utilitarian exterior ( somewhat ) and a very elegant interior, well done! Good use of the paradisia (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

In lugnet.space, Mladen Pejic writes: [snip] Well, I don't want to get into an argument over this, because I know you didn't mean anything negative by your first post.
