Hey, Rob, that's what I was doing last night as well.. but I was installing
the w2kpro as my virtual machine (VMWare). However, I ran into some system
problem and I have to do this again today. If it works with the w2kpro on
your toshiba satellite laptop, it may very well also work as a VM as well.
I hope it will so that I don't have to deal with the backup, restore
hassle...

PS: just to clarify the OS compatibility issue... the tower works just fine
with w2kpro, win2003 pro, xp, and xp pro with a combination of desktops (all
from Dell). This craching problem seem to only happen to this particular
Toshiba model... Satellite P25...
