(...) BricxCC can't know for sure what compiler to use unless it can tell what type of file you are editing. It figures this out using the file extension. IIRC the issue was that Task, Process and Thread were all used to represent the same item/concept in the Kernel code. After some discussion, it was decided that the word Task would be used in all cases. This improves readability, etc... (ie. Task (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Hi, Michael. I had some trouble with getting variables into registers, as well. I can think of three ways: 1) Pass the variable to a function - the first function argument seems to be r0. (...) In rethinking I think that compiling with the -S option will do what you want. It should create a file with a .s suffix. -S makes the compiler compile, but not assemble. Hi, I'm having problems getting dllx to work. I expanded the lnpd 0.9.0 zip file from sourceforge. I did ./configure and make with no problems or error messages. Now, I run lnpd with "lnpd --nolock". Hello Bernhard, (...) I just checked the source code. There is no speed setting for usb tower in the code. If you look into firmdl3 you also find that fast mode is disabled for USB, because it doesn't work. I think the USB tower sends at 2400 baud (...) Can't be that the unresolved references are from the code I want to add to BrickOS, because I also tried to compile just the BrickOS-files (without the code I want to add) and the same errors appeared.
