| | Re: Transmitting a message from the RCX to the PC
|
| Would it be possible to have two RCX's communicate back and forth with a single PC by using two Infrared towers? By enclosing one tower/RCX pair in a box you could isolate the RCX's from interrupting each other's communications. I'm guessing that (...) (21 years ago, 25-May-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| Hello, I'm trying to get a recent brickOS (0.9.0) working on Mac OS X 10.4.3. I have an RCX 2.0 with the USB tower. I have a cross-compiler (gcc 3.2.2) that apparently works, and using the firmware download program included with lejOS (specially (...) | I don't have a Mac box... But there are quite a bit of Intel users have similar problems. By any chance your Panther box has hyperthreading turned on. For the Intel users, the final verdict is hyperthreading feature being the culprit. Some (...) (20 years ago, 25-Apr-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| I am getting a common (apparent in the legos newsgroup) error "Error 53: Opening //./legotower1" when I try to download a program. I do successfully use firmdl3 to download the kernel even using the --tty=usb option. But when I try to download a (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| | 64bit driver for the LEGO USB Tower
|
| Is it safe to say that LEGO will not be creating a 64bit driver for the USB Tower? Is there anyone here that could? What would it take? It would be really nice to have one before LEGO completely drops support for the RCX system. (16 years ago, 16-Jan-09, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| | Re: Partial USB support

| fyi- There was a pretty nasty (and stupid) bug in 2.4 a3 that would cause a crash if no serial port was specified (either with a -S option or the RCX_PORT environment var). I've fixed it and posted an update (2.4 a4). I suggest that anyone using a3 (...) (23 years ago, 30-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
