| Hi, I'm trying to get my USB tower to work with XP. So far I had no luck. I followed the instructions on www.mindstroms.com but it doesn't work. | Hi David, (...) these are the log messages from the USB core, but I don't see any from the driver, are you sure the driver is loaded? Also, the device nowadays is supposed to be at /dev/usb/legousbtower0. If you use udev it should create that (...) (20 years ago, 17-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| Lego Mindstorms told me that USB to Serial converters have not functioned properly. The actual conversation went as, "they (the convertors) don't send correct information to the brick through the IR tower. There are no work arounds." I have been (...) | (...) Your correct, it isn't that. I know all about -Susb, because I'm using a serial and a usb tower simultaneously with respective rcx's. One sets in a box so their is no IR crossover. But if the Darwin version of cc can be built to support the h8, you're still gonna have to (most likely) make changes to firmdl & dll programs to get them working with the Mac. Do (...)
