Hi, I'm a developer for leJOS (a Java VM on the RCX) and I am interested in how legos applications are transfered from the PC to the RCX (basically because the leJOS mechanism seems to be fairly flakey and I'd rather not try to implement an entire (...) I'm using NQC 2.2 (but I also had the problem with 2.1) to compile programs for my RCX. I don't see how to control whether the LED in the light sensor is on or off. Doing a SetSensor didn't do it...I had to run an old program from Gordon's Brick (...) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Hi all, Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use NQC to directly set bits in RCX registers? And if so, how does one do it? I've seen C code examples of this in a few places, but no NQC examples. Hello, I've just had an crazy but simple idea a few days back. I was looking at all the pullback cars from LEGO in the shop, and it strikes me that the only thing that pullback motor does is to first "charge" the motor (spring) with energy and then (...)   How to send button cmd or run pgm remotely from one RCX to another ?
 
I am trying to use lnp_addressing_write() or lnp_assured_write() to send commands (e.g. CMDdelete, CMDsethost) from one RCX to another. This seems to be the way it is handled in loader.c of the DLL utility. I am not having any success. Is there an (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Dear Members, I managed to use NQC MONITOR command to watch TIMERs in my SCOUT using the predefined SCOUT events (EVENT_TIMER_0). However, I failed with my Spybotics and RCX 2.0. I'm working a project to communicate from a PC to an RCX running the current version of BrickOS-0.2.6.10. I'm running windows 2000 professional and I use the current version of Cygwin. (...) This can't be right. I'm about 99% sure that all of the ints I've used with my legOS programs have been 2 bytes.
