  Looking for Serial IRTower Drivers

I am running a program that uses a serial tower but I cannot find a serial IR Driver. To get this program to work I have made a RS-232 com4 port out of my PCMCIA slot for the serial tower but in all the disks I have I cannot find a serial IR Tower (...)   Psion 5mx firmware downloader

I've written a firmware downloader that runs on a Psion 5mx (and probably an older 5, but I haven't tested it). I should note this uses the IR tower connected to teh cable serial port (via lego's cable, psion's cable and a null modem adaptor, (...) (23 years ago, 29-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Using the serial port of an NCD terminal.

Hello legOS fans, I have written a hack to make it possible to connect the IR tower to a NCD terminal. Here at university we are using those fan less terminals, while the servers are in another room.   dll 0.2.3 fails on SGI

Hello all, My first time on this list... I've been trying to get LegOS running in my recently aquired RCX 1.0. I created an egcs cross-compiler for Solaris. I used this to compile the kernel. The IR tower is connected to an SGI (an O^2 running IRIX (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  IR questions

This is a whole bunch of IR questions, which come from my first serious fooling around with the IR. Since some of these are legOS or Linux specific, I've cross-posted- I hope no one is too offended. 1) Despite putting the bot in an infinite while (...)   Re: firmdl3 error - bad ir link

(...) In order to warm up the tower, firmdl3 repeatedly sends out some bytes until the tower echos those same bytes back. If this fails to succeed within four seconds, you get the bad link error.
