  REALbasic and serial ports

Hi all, I want to try REALbasic with the Lego RCX. I think that this could be another programming tool for the Macintosh to do everything nearly like Visual Basic and Windows. Therefore I need some program code to use the serial ports in my (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jun-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  phantom.dll control problem

Hi all, I am going to use phantom.dll controls(I hope)for communicating with rcx. I am using visual C++ 6.0 as the development environemnt. I am using the controls, in a win32 console application. The problem is nothing seems to be send to the rcx (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jun-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Any substitute to the default lego serial cable!

Hi, all! I've just bought and got a IR serial tower from bricklink but I haven't a default lego serial cable. Originally, I think ordinary RS-232 DB-9F to DB-9F cable can be used instead, but I fail to do the firmware downloading under Win98 RIS UI (...) (...) On the software side, don't forget to lobby them to fix the #$@%$! hyperthreading USB tower driver bug!!!! I'd also love to see real C/C++ programming support out of the box -- setting up Cygwin and brickOS is just too hard for most people. If (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jun-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: More RCX's controled by one tower ?

You cannot program them independantly, but you can make sure your programs respond to different IR messages during normal operation. All RCX's will receive the messages, but as long as only one responds with some action then independant control is (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics)
