  Windows NT Success Story!

I'm pleased to announce that the NT boxes in our computer science lab has LegOS installed and running under Cygwin! I'd like to share this success story in the hope that it might help those who are still battling the Redmond Behemoth. In our lab we (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

LNPd with USB Tower - success?

Hi, I'm new here. My name is Pierluigi and I am a student at the Turin Polytechnic ((URL) ). I've used BrickOS with LNPd for a summer project, and I've recently bought the Robotics Invention System 2.0, that comes with a USB IR Tower. This tower (...)   HOWTO: Building and installing brickOS tools on Mac OS X with USB IR tower

Hi all, I just finished compiling and installing a cross-compiler and brickOS to my RCX from my PowerBook with Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.3 and a USB IR tower. Here's a blog posting about my experience: (URL) that I was able to install brickOS to my RCX (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: HOWTO: Building and installing brickOS tools on Mac OS X with USB IR tower

(...) As I said to Marc in a private email (I have trouble posting to lugnet, not being a member and all), I hacked "dll" so that it works on Mac OS X 10.4 with the USB tower, using the USB code from lejos. (URL) that helps. cheers peter (19 years ago, 10-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

(...) Perhaps one of the brickOS folks wants to work with me to turn this into a HOWTO that can go on the brickOS site? I also could take a stab at modifying the "dll" program to support USB on the Mac. If any folks from brickOS are interested, (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: control multiple mindstorms robots using 1 IR tower!

yes - have to use messages - there's an app somewhere that allows multiple RCXs to be RCed that was developed for BrickWars I think, multiple games pads on one PC control an RCX each. Principle is, each RCX is coded to obey a set of messages in a (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

No matter how hard I try - or how many different "this is how to do legOS under Win32" web sites I visit - I cannot get legOS and its associated cross-compiler to build.   RIS 1.0 -> 1.5 -> 2.0 upgrade questions

I have a Mindstorms 1.0 set. When the 1.5 upgrade came out, I purchased it. I see that the 2.0 upgrade is out. A couple of quick questions: (1) Is the upgrade just a CD-ROM, or are there any pieces, users' guide, or Constructopedia like there was in (...) (22 years ago, 5-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
