| (i had a few problems to post, so this msg is a little too late...) Hi, i am new to brickOS, (since christmas) and i have one of those fancy RCX2.0 bricks with an USB IR-Tower. I am using debian and have little experiences with usb and (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| | Re: RCX firmware download
|
| (...) It sounds like firmware download is aborting when trying to shift from normal to fast speed. Fast firmware download with the USB tower has always been a bit touchy. Make sure you have the most recent version of MacNQC, since there was a fix a (...) (20 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| | LegOS/BrickOS on Mac OS X?
|
| I was wondering if anyone had successfully ported the H8 compiler over to OS X? With an USB IR Tower, and the underlying Unix/BSD resources on the Mac, it would be an ideal development platform. I've tried compiling the H8 Cross compiler without (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| | Re: control RCX from PC
|
| (...) I have a simple WIN32 console application (with C source code) that opens the USB tower to listen for messages from the RCX. You can easily modify this program (using the WriteFile() API system function) to talk to the RCX. (URL) not exactly (...) (20 years ago, 16-Apr-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| Hi everyone, my first posting. First off, heartfelt thanks to Ralph for pbForth. Having recently (Jan 2004) got hold of Mindstorms 2.0 I thought I would lay out the way I found to get up and running with pbForth. It took me a week or two to figure (...) |
| Having no luck getting BrickOS and the cross compiler package to build under Mac OS X 10.2.2, I thought I'd try moving my previously working djgpp directories and LegOS 0.2.4 directories to a Virtual PC DOS session...only to remember that djgpp (...) | (...) BricxCC works with XP and both IR towers. The USB tower works with XP. You can get just the USB tower from Pitsco, but I do not know if you can get just the USB tower from LEGO. If you get the USB tower from Pitsco you will need to download (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Also can I get just the USB tower from LEGO? Thanks and sorry for all the questions. (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)
