(manually wouldn't be a problem) one possibility would be to slowly turn the spindle while the tool is being inserted so it finds the axlehole more (...) (...) My mistake. The RCX 1.0 has an AC adaptor jack which has a full-wave bridge rectifier to convert to DC and would provide AC protection. I guess RCX 2.0, without the external jack, does not have this. (17 years ago, 26-Aug-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
