However, one big difference is that if the RIS 1.5 is operated with re-chargeable batteries, the batteries cannot be charged in the RCX since there is no plug anymore. Best regards (...) Hoorah, thx alot yes it does work now...though I had patched my old one using the pkunzip repair facility. Is Vision command any use with pbForth... I mean any point of getting it ? Does anyone know if the new Mindstrom V2.0 RCX come with the AC power adpater like the v1.0 has? (...) The difference in parts seems to be minor, look here: (URL) of course the RCX 1.5 doesn't have a power adaptor, so they won't be able to recycle them.
