Dave Can you setup NQC to automatically ignore things a pbrink doesn't understand? For example The scout. I have a program that I use in my 2 RCX's and my 1 scout. Hi all. This is just a quick moral question. I noticed that the RCX ROM has a copy memory routine (0x042a). I've modified my memcpy.s to use this: _memcpy: push r0 mov.w r1,r0 add.w r2,r1 pop r2 jmp @ mem_copy .end And added mem_copy=0x042a to (...) (24 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Ah that explains it! I didn't try RCX Code, I wasn't that keen on it and also it wouldn't run on my NT workstation. I moved straight on to NQC and more recently have been trying RoboLab. Conrad, LEGO does refer to series of commands as 'stacks'. This comes from the Robotics Invention System RCX Code interface where a program is a literal 'stack' of instruction blocks; those who haven't used RCX Code much wouldn't recognize the (...) (24 years ago, 7-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

My sense is that future versions (say in time for Christmas) will have new firmware, but the new firmware will also be available to current users. I'd say you got a good deal. At DM 109, even the Droid kit is a good deal, not even counting the (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
