No. The 'power connector' version, is the RCX 1.0. When Lego introduced the
Mindstorm 1.5, they removed the power connector. To confuse more, the case of
the RCX is still marked 1.0!. The RCX 1.0 _with power connector_ is still
available via Dacta suppliers. I am in the UK, and my first RCX, had the
connector. The second one didn't (Mindstorm 1.5), then my third one bought via
an educational supplier did...
Supplying power an alternative 'way' via the power clips is becoming a whole
new 'art'.
