I just got a handyboard and have been playing with it. I would like to maybe network a couple of miniboards to it for expansion using the SPI. So: 1) how does one drive the SPI, software wise? (...) This command line has two errors. First, it should be "-256", not "-216". Second, do NOT use the "-mb" flag. This is for the Mini Board---not the Handy Board. Also, you can try dl.exe. Good question. In principle, the answer is yes. The base requirements for running IC are the 6811, 32K ram, and a serial port. Thanks to Chuck McManis' pointer, I found Ray Butts' web page. He makes a 68HC11E1 + 32K RAM + MAX232 computer he calls the Tcomp for about $60. Would IC run on this machine? (...) Good question. Many UNIX programs are text-based, which allows easier integration with editors, etc. (if you disable paren balencing, you should be able to run IC under emacs, for example). Well, I finally broke down and bought a PC. (after being an amiga user for serveral years...) In an attempt to make life more interesting, i decided to install linux on my system.
