  Re: Servo

(...) You need to do a 'load servo.icb' before you do the 'load servo.c' command. The .icb file contains the code described in the servo.asm file, in a binary format. The code in the servo.asm file does the actual work of running the servo output. (...) (28 years ago, 12-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Servo

Does anyone know how to activate the servo on HandyBoard with IC? (I am going to use the Polaroid Sonar Ranger when it gets here.) When I try to load 'Servo.C', the supplied program, I get 6 or 8 errors of unassigned lables. I assume that (...) (28 years ago, 12-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

re:4 line LCDs and other LCD questions

(...) HB experts, correct me if I'm wrong, but if someone wanted to use an LCD bigger than 2x16, wouldn't the pcode have to be recompiled? I know that in the pcode.asm file there is reference to displays up to 2x80 (of which I have 4 and none work (...) (28 years ago, 12-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

4 line LCDs and other LCD questions

Dear HB suppliers: Can anybody sell us bigger LCDs for the HandyBoard? I need at least 4 line LCD or other similar type. It will be used in complete darkness, so it should be illuminated. Thanks.   RE:TCNT reg

(...) The battery goes to the (+) (-) spots, and the charger plugs into either the Handy Board itself (near the frob knob) or on the serial/battery board.   TCNT register !

I want to know if the time we get from timer (TCNT) is in second or milisecond. I was trying to run the handyboard for my first time, and I am confusing about the power supply, I don't know if the power supply should be plugged in the handy board (...)   Nuggets

While trying to unload some IS1U60 IR receivers, I found the sharp data site. It turns out that the IS1U60 has a center freq of 38 khz, while 40khz is is well within its pickup range, I wonder if changeing the circuit on the HB to 38khz would (...)   fuse on handyboard

I'm curious - what is the maximum current the Polyswitch fuse on the handyboard will allow to pass through it?   Emitting 40khz IR

How do I send out 40khz IR on the handyboard IR port so that I can use a Sharp IR detector for proximity sensing? I would need a signal that wasn't modulated at 100 or 125 hz, right? Just a straight 40khz signal. Any help would be appreciated. -John (28 years ago, 9-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
