Well, I seemed to have narrowed down the problem I was having with the Vector2x compass. It was functioning fine... All I had to do was write clean code that called comp_disable(1) at the end. Hi all, I am having lots of trouble with the vector 2x compass. Sometimes it seems to work fine. Other times it just ouputs zeros (like someone else was saying...). My problem is that I need to read in a floating point number through the serial port. I tried using the serial_getchar function to read in the number as an int, then convert it to a float, but that was unsuccessful. I also tried altering the (...) 1) Doesn't using motor driver chip pins 1 and 9 disable correct operation of that motor chip. That is, when you poke to those outputs, doesn't that effect the motor outputs of that chip? 2) Aside from the difficulties involved in writing assembly (...) Hi Fred, I have an idea! I was wondering if it would be too much trouble to zip all the pictures up into one file so some of us can ftp it.
