  Reading floating point numbers
 
My problem is that I need to read in a floating point number through the serial port. I tried using the serial_getchar function to read in the number as an int, then convert it to a float, but that was unsuccessful. I also tried altering the (...)   Vector2X compass accuracy?

1) Doesn't using motor driver chip pins 1 and 9 disable correct operation of that motor chip. That is, when you poke to those outputs, doesn't that effect the motor outputs of that chip? 2) Aside from the difficulties involved in writing assembly (...) Hi Fred, I have an idea! I was wondering if it would be too much trouble to zip all the pictures up into one file so some of us can ftp it. Hi Fred, I saw your LEGO robot picture that you put up. I am interrested on track threads on the robot. Could you tell how to get a hand on ones ? I do no think they are LEGO parts, are they ?
