 | | Re: Robotic DAT Tape Loader
|
| (...) That's the iTools automatic photo album feature...it's quite cool, but it might take a minute for the large images to load. Even on my 800k connection it takes a bit for the images to load. I like the idea of an auto CD loader though...I've (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) No it's not cool. The images won't load at all. It doesn't have anything to do with waiting. When I click the link it tries to do something with JavaScript which doesn't work. Can you fix it so the links just go straight to the images and (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

|
| I can't speak for the LEGO Studios software (as I do not own it), but with Vision Command, the problem is more a support issue than anything else. LEGO does have a patch that does allow VC to work on 2000 or XP, but there are two catches: 1) The VC (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-03, to lugnet.robotics)

 | | Micromouse Robotic Competition, Could RCX do this?
|
| I recently stumbled across a reference to the Micromouse Robotics competition and thought others in the group might find it interesting. It looks like something that would be [barely] achieveable with a Mindstorms implementation. APEC [Applied Power (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

 | | Robotic DAT Tape Loader
|
| Hello all, After alot of work and even more procrastination I have gotten around to documenting the Lego DAT Tape Loader. I used one RCX, Two standard moters, one micro moter, two rotation sensors, and one touch sensor. Here are some pictures: (URL) (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) Taking a look at the rules, there doesn't seem to be any penalty for touching the walls, so I dont see why you couldn't use a single RXC with 2 motors and 3 (or 4) touch sensors: left, front, right (back). These can be multiplexed onto a (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

 | | Re: Jama, Vision Command, & Windows XP

| From what I understand, there is an issue with using the NT windows products and Vision Command. However, Rob Limbaugh beat it into submission. His pages outline step by step how to install VC properly. Although I have stopped construction on Jama (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics.vc)

 | | Garmin GPS25-LVS
|
| I am working on a robotic blimp project. I've acquired the Garmin GPS25-LVS receiver and I want to use it with the HandyBoard to control the blimp. Does anybody have a schematic that would show how to connect this GPS system to the HandyBoard, and (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| Fellow Lugnuts, I'm working with some of the files in Fred's 'Robotic Explorations' book and would like to use the Sensor History Routines (page 291, Section 6.5.7).
