  Re: Contests?

I'm working on a new web site which I hope to launch over the holidays, but I've got a couple of January events listed on the calendar already. It's basically non-functional now, so if you know of an event, drop me an email or post it here and I'll (...) (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I can't help you with the software, but I have a question about the Macs. Is it unreasonable to keep the Macs in the event that you cannot work Dacta Control Lab with Windows NT or 2000? Todd (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Code-only Line-tracking competition

Well, it's been a few weeks since the Workshop 3D RCX Challenge, and all the other results were in a long time ago, but we finally have the results for the code-only event. Since tab characters seem to disappear in these posts, and a table is (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics.events, lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: legOS codeI need example code of rcx2rcx communication.

Hi Chris, I just started experimenting with brick-to-brick rcx communication. This is some code that I got working. It doesn't do a whole lot, but it demonstrates the basics of what you need to do. There are two bricks involved. Hostmask is 0xf0. (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

As a participant in the code-only category I'm very curious how my program did, but I didn't see anything about the line tracking event yet, neither on the webcast nor among your pictures nor on the (...)   Loading multiple java binaries using leJOS

I'm one of the organizers for the Workshop 3D RCX Challenge, a competition being held this weekend. I've never used leJOS before, and have a question: There are several entries in the "Code only" event that are written using leJOS and I would like (...)   Re: new RoboLab 2.5 compatible with old serial IR tower & RCX 1.0

1) If you have a serial tower, there is no reason I can think of to purchase the USB tower. If you use a USB tower, then you will need the USB support that Robolab 2.5 provides. 2) The hardware differences between the 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 bricks are (...)
