  walker that turns?

(...) I think I've seen four-legged walkers that turn the same way that a tank tread vehicle turns -- walk the two legs on one side forward and the other side backwards. (...) There are probably many ways for a walker to turn. A simple one is the "triple gait cycle hexapod", which can walk both forwards and backwards, in addition to turning either way.
