I got this awesome idea:
Have you heard of Laserdome? You run around in a dark room and shoot at othe
rpeople with lasers. When you get hit, a computer registers it and blah
blah. How about building two robots, equip them with a light sensor and a
laser pointer, and then have them to chase each other, trying to point the
laser at the lightsensor. I know it will be tough, since the robot can´t see
where the light sensor is. But wow, it would be awesome!

| *Real* lasers don't even look impressive. It is pracitaclly impossible to get a laser in the visable wavelengths to cut stuff. Usually UV lasers are used for this purpose. But anyway... in Oz, proper laser pointers are about $60. You can get really (...) (25 years ago, 17-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
