Re: who was the 1st non-north american to possess mindstorms???

(...) How funny, since I JUST got done hearing from Suzanne (through e-mail) about how Exploration Mars won't be out until next year (after I wrote to her with about the same reaction you just wrote). You two really need to talk more. :-P Anyway, (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) ! we talk all the time about LEGO stuff. Probably why my memory about it is so bad. She's the Technic-head in the family anyway. :) I'm Space Boy, remember? Come to think of it, I can't even remember when Star Wars is supposed to come out next (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) But the first SW Lego sets are being released BEFORE SW1. I will keep in mind what you said Re: lucas and SW though (quibble: it did not apply to the anniversary release) (...) The Phantom Menace Sarah Heacock sarah@eskimo.com (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Speaking of SW Lego, I just finished a first draft model of Kyle Katarn's ship... I forget what it was called... "the Moldy Crow" ??? something like that. Anybody know what it is called? I'll post images of it on my web page soon. --Karim (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: who was the 1st non-north american to possess mindstorms???

(...) Hmm. I read what Todd wrote ("Come to think of it, I can't even remember when Star Wars is supposed to come out next spring") as referring to the film, not the sets. An offshoot of his being "Space Boy" over "LEGO Space Boy." I now realize (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: who was the 1st non-north american to possess mindstorms???

(...) *grin* I'm excited to FINALLY get a chance to see Star Wars in the Theatre. Even if it isn't REAL star Wars. I don't care about beating the crowds when it's a movie I've been waiting for long enough! Sarah (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: who was the 1st non-north american to possess mindstorms???

(...) It's much worse than that, I'm afraid. We rarely go shopping one without the other, and we rarely have time for play. We work independently. Followups to off-topic.fun (I hope) (...) Never saw Space Boy, but the mention of Willow makes me wonder if anyone else has considered the possibility that this trilogy that will be coming out might just totally suck?   Re: who was the 1st non-north american to possess mindstorms???

(...) I must be old. I remember seeing the first Star Wars movie when it first came out. I was in San Francisco at the time (it was June, 1977, about a month after it was released) and it was only playing at 1 cinema. We waited in line for 3 hours, (...)   Re: who was the 1st non-north american to possess mindstorms???

(...) I am only 29, and can remember it. What is even more frightening is that it was 2 **decades** ago.
