  Have 4 motors, need help!

Hello, I recently ordered an extra motor from Lego World Shop and a rotation sensor for my RCX. I also bought today The RoboSports Expansion set. My problem is what am I to do with 4 motors? the RCX only has 3 inputs! I would greatly appreciate it (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Jonathan, how do u run 2motors on 1 input? That would be very usesful. <ichael Aaron (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Build a compressor with your extra motor. If you don't have the pneumatics for it, you soon will, right? :) John Matthews Chris <superpcer1@home.com> wrote in message news:FELuwC.7zw@lugnet.com... (...) sensor (...) is (...) what (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Output, not input! Two motors on one output. The way you run two motors on one output is you stack the 9V connector leads on top of each other. They have conducting studs on the top to allow another 9V connecting lead to be connected to the end of (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Ok ok, I'm not a total newbie to Legos or Mindstorms! I do know that it's possible to connect 2 motors to one output on each side (A and C). The only thing with doing that though is that each 2 motors on either side will move the same! What can you (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Robert, Thank u for the tip. BTW i'm a bit mentally challenged when it comes to lego's & robotics so please excuse the confusion about output/input! : ) 90% of the stuff on this list is jibberish to me, but i stay on so that i can learn, & collect (...) From: Bob Fay <rfay@we.mediaone.net> (...) leaves three outputs for the other three motors. Not really a special solution. Isn't the problem really "how do I make the three outputs drive more than three motors (or whatever), each in an independent (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

This is an excerpt from an "almost" real-life experience: Lalala, look mom! My robot has four motors! Two on each side to power the tank treads.   Re: motors

Hi, I found that one of my Mindstorms motors is a bit stronger than the other. The robot should go forward, but slightly diverts right.
