My understanding of X-10 is that this home automation standard piggybacks its data signals over the AC (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: wireless camera

(...) It is indeed a radio-based wireless camera, as the page states it operates in the 2.4GHz (ISM) range. Unsure what the power requirements are, it might be perfect for lego stuff if it doesn't suck too much power... TTYL, Omega Erik Walthinsen (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) This device is really wireless. Check (URL) for details. It operates in the 2.4 GHz range. The basic transmitter/receiver set is $75 (VK22A). Tilman -- Did you check the web site first?: (URL) (25 years ago, 24-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) don't sweat that, I have the X10 home automation stuff, and have been on their mailing list for a while. They are NOTORIOUS for having these "HURRY!!   Re: wireless camera

(...) Newer X-10 stuff can work via the 2.4ghz RF band as well. Their firecracker product (which I have) does exactly this. It comes with 4 pieces: a 2.4ghz remote, a 2.4ghz transmitter for your PC, a 2.4ghz receiver/lamp controller that you plug (...) (25 years ago, 25-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)
