Re: Help me improve the Wikipedia article about Mindstorms?

(...) historical aspect. I couldn't find anything in there which talks about the Lego robotics lines as a whole and how they relate to each other, nothing I could use in Wikipedia. (20 years ago, 12-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Help me improve the Wikipedia article about Mindstorms?

The Wikipedia article about Lego Mindstorms ((URL) is really paltry on the details. There's nothing in there about Spybotics, or Cybermaster, or Micro Scout, or the improvements in the RCX firmware releases, or how the RCX can control the Scout, or (...)   Re: On not hearing from LEGO (Was: So, who IS in the MDP?)

(...) Well I can confirm that I received no reply to my gmail.com address, and as gmail keeps all my spam filtered mail, can confirm that it wasn't filtered either. And as I *did* receive a "sorry try again next time" mail for my ambassador (...) (20 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.lego)

On not hearing from LEGO (Was: So, who IS in the MDP?)

(...) Well since this thread is still being watched I'll make two announcments. First, I was also fortunate enough to be in the MDP (actually, I was in the MUP expansion prior to this point, but close enough). And it is an amazing and *busy* group (...) I am in the MDP also. I do feel lucky/honored to be a part of it. Bryan (20 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  What's the latest RCX firmware?

What's the latest version of the standard RCX firmware (for use with NQC)? And how do I obtain it? I purchased the original RIS 1.0 and then the 1.5 upgrade. I found a 2.0 beta firmware online for free download from Lego (part of the 2.0 beta SDK); (...) (20 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Connect Galvanometer to a NXT motor port

I would like to be able to connect a Galvanometer to the NXT. Using this galvanometer with the ultrasound sensor attached one could get a wide angular "look" of any obstacles within one snapshot in time. Essentially creating a "radar". The other use (...)   Re: So, who IS in the MDP?

(...) Feb 28th, 4 in the afternoon. I haven't signed anything, so I'm pretty sure I'm OK posting this: ---...--- Dear LEGO fan, Thank you very much for your interest in participating in the LEGO® MINDSTORMS™ Developer Program. We are very sorry but (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: So, who IS in the MDP?

(...) How long ago? Btw, I think I've finally given up hope. I was thinking that perhaps the folks that didn't get bummer emails were reserves for folks who couldn't initially accept OR if they were going to expand the MDP a little bit after the (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: NXT Bot Idea - Audio Tracking

(...) You can do that with the RCX using low-level functions that directly access the H8 microcontroller. (We actually did it with Ultimate ROBOLAB). (URL) already worked out several sound sensors. A particularly interesting one is used in robot (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: So, who IS in the MDP?

(...) Of course it's also possible that LEGO still have got yay or nay from the first 100 respondants, and so sending out bummer emails may be premature. ROSCO (20 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: So, who IS in the MDP?
