Doh!  I keep thinking this is a regular CPU with all its RAM & ROM
external, and the locations at the whim of the board designer.  Thanks
for the reality check.

On the plus side, my egcs cross compiler built legOS with the light
sensor task, and it downloaded and ran as expected.  Cool!

BTW, I've discovered that you don't have to take *all* the batteries
out (and turn on the RCX) to get the firmware cleared; you only have
to take out one (and turn it on).  Pretty obvious, even to a dim bulb
like myself, but I have to admit that I did it the hard way once or
twice :-)
