For the pen up and down, use a gear rack assembly attachec to the pen and to a
motor/guide assembly on the robot.  Make it a differential drive robot with a
differential linked rotation sensor found on Jonathan Knudsen (I porbably
butchered that, and I don't have a link).  Then make subroutines to do the
specified action when you program it.

Greetings all, (...) a rotary sensor), I would like to be able to create a logo-style turtle -- i.e. able to do pen up, pen down, move, turn, and so able to produce programmed geometries. Has anyone done this? Being new to legos (alas), I would (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.robotics)
