Tech question for us: Any body know what an Anti-Backlash gear is? If Lego made one, we would all have super precise Robots and mechanisisms! BERG carries them... Anybody know what I'm talking about? (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

I read somewhere in the past as an official "Legostatement" from TLC - that no lubricants of any kind should be used with the gears, wheels, axles, pcs. etc... However, it sounds like some people have had success using controlled amounts. I do know (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)
