| | I know I've seen someone suggest a non-LEGO source for tubing compatible with LEGO pneumatics, but after half and hour of searching through past posts I can't locate it (so sorry for any repitition). I have tried auto parts stores (vacuum tubing -- (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | | Dear Tom (...) Thanks for your reply. You'll notice that I mentioned in my original question that the tubing available in the RC shops (which I referred to as poly tubing rather than neoprene -- my bad) is a bit stiff. I had a vague memory of (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

If you are using Netscape Communicator, just type "pneumatic tubing" (without the quotes) into the URL field, and start with those (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | | (...) I believe that TLC has used the same tubing in a few non-pneumatic sets. I have one older pneumatic set here so I took a piece of tubing off of it and compared to some pieces that came off of the 6180 Hydro Search Sub. They appear to be quite (...) | | | | (...) Has anyone tried the tubing from Pitsco/Dacta? See: (URL) It has a 1/8" ID and a 100 foot roll is $9.00. Is it like the tubing in Pneumatic sets or is it a hard plastic tubing instead of rubber? Thomas (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | I have been using R/C airplane fuel line as an alternative to the Lego tubing. Its made of a different material and has a slightly larger O.D., but the I.D. is good, it fits well, and hasn't popped off (with moderate use). I'm not sure how well it (...)
