Very clever! I myself have been playing around with those quarter circle bricks, great to see what you did! You are right, the mechanism works well, both directions! Eric Sophie Legomaster Biomechanical Bricks (14 years ago, 22-Sep-10, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

| | Robot Competition at BrickCon 2010

This year's robot competition at BrickCon will be a racing competition. Build and program a robot able to race around an irregularly shaped gradient track while avoiding obstacles on the track. | | Re: Text languages for programming NXT?

(...) Last year I tried using RobotC on an RCX, and found it to be buggy and no longer maintained. It worked very well on the NXT, but I was looking for something affordable that I could use in a classroom environment, and that made it easy to (...) (14 years ago, 10-Sep-10, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

An earlier thread [ (URL) ] touched on changing the baud rate of the USB IR tower. Based on what information I have been able to find, it appears that at one time the Lego USB driver for Linux did include the ability to change the baud rate and (...) Many thanks for your excellent and interesting work done here, Philo! I own the new Power function trains for not much more than a week and found them wonderful and very sufficient until now. I can imagine that you have only one motor for testing purpose, but if possible, can you open the PF motor to see if it can be placed in the 9V train motor casing? As an eight wider, I always lamented the underpowered 9 volt motor in its attempts to pull heavy, 8 wide consists. But it wasn't such an issue (...) I'm getting back into Mindstorms after a long hiatus. Let me resurrect this old thread, to see what the answer is in 2010. :-) What text-based languages are most mature and best-supported these days for programming RCX and NXT? Is RobotC still (...) (14 years ago, 28-Aug-10, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

(...) *NOW* you're thinking like a Mindstorms person ;). Seriously, I'm glad it's working. The 1 ms difference could be due to a lot of things... but if it's not that critical, then it's not a problem. (14 years ago, 27-Aug-10, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)
