I'm teaching this week using laptops running on Vista. The laptops also have the full suite of Adobe software. Under these conditions, the models do not show up. I had this error message on a Vista system. RIS 2.0 worked fine the first time I ran it, but gave this error every subsequent time (even if I uninstalled/reinstalled it). Memory definitely wasn't an issue since the system had 4GB RAM plus swap (...) (16 years ago, 22-Jul-08, to lugnet.robotics)

The only reason that the worm gear had to be made a tiny bit less than 2 studs long was so that when you put it between two TECHNIC (...) Another way of putting it is that if you want to multiply align (stack) worm gears, the number of times the thread goes around the worm gear has to be an integer (or since (...)
