RE: Wot no RCX power connector?

I was thinking of using only one at the end (attached to the + where it goes onto the PCB), and running a lead to clip onto the first (attached to the - ). The 4 middle ones can be ignored.   Re: Vector 2X problem

Hi, finally my Vector2X works! Just because of the wrong selection of transistor. Guide comes from Tom Brusehaver (1997). Thanks! Any way, the result seems not consistense as the heading 'hang' when I turn off the HB and on again later. Instead of (...) (26 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Pneumatics and the RCX -how?

I know that some of you use pneumatics for yuor robots. How do you do that? I suppose you use a compressor and a motor to change the valve, but that requires two motors and 2 is all that come with the MindStorms. Yes, I can buy more, but I´d like to (...)   Re: Pneumatics and the RCX -how?

I have been searching for the answer to this one for a while. My intent is to find a supplier who has small electrically operated (solenoid) valves which can be driven by the RCX output(s). I have found one so far, but the valves are very pricy. But (...) (26 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Palm Pilot

I've received a few emails about my Palm Pilot program to control the RCX, so I put up a quick web page about it here: (URL) Kory (26 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

NELUG at Mindfest update (Good News on our Table Space!!)

I just got some good news from Fred Martin. We now have 2 tables! We should not have to worry about not having enough space now. Whew...   Re: Wot no RCX power connector?

(...) I guess TLG still tries to aim their product at children => Childres build cars => Cars cannot be plugged in and drive at the same time => Remove connector because it is not needed => lower production cost.   Re: GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM

(...) Yes, I have done it, perhaps others. I use mine nearly every day connected to a GPS, but it has nothing to do with robotics. You're a bit off on your accuracy though, the spec actually says you'll be within 100 meters 95% of the time. I think (...) (26 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  HC11 pink book

Hi, I've seen this referenced, and grabbed the link that someone provided the other day. I've had a look at all the different manuals listed, but I can' work out which is the right one to grab. (...) Only if the RCX was "on" at the time.
