  Re: 4x2ReVu: 5938 Oasis Ambush

(...) delightful little set that I had ear-marked to buy once I could find it at a decent sale price. $3 bucks was it (on a side note, my son and I enjoyed Legoland, but it is too expensive for what it is). The jackal on a pedestal was great. I (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.reviews)

Re: First Impressions of #7150 - TIE Fighter / Y-Wing

<SNIP> (...) and (...) often (...) My friend (who is really into starwars) told me that there *are* two pilots in the "real" thing, one that flies the ship and one that aims the ion cannon, that *did* pivot. But why care, the set is great. --Tobias (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

Re: First Impressions of #7150 - TIE Fighter / Y-Wing

  Re: My View of 6479

(...) Yeah, I did forget the 6x24 - they are great pieces, but I forgot them while looking - being the base of the whole building. I'm not sure what you mean by grey wingy thing - but I think you're referring to the "dock pieces" that were on the (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.reviews)

  Re: My View of 6479

(...) You forgot the best pieces! Two 6x24 grey plates, and a shuttle base (grey wing thingy). I like the docks too, use them for ship docks or train station platforms. Kevin (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.reviews)

  My View of 6479

This will be an informal (maybe not?) review, since I already wrote a long one, but it got erased. Arrgh! And on my first review, too! Background: I bought this Emergency Response Center in LEGOLAND, so the price probably could've been better. It (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.reviews)

  My ReVUE: 5553 Red Fury

D'oh! I just made the third sub last night w/OUT any re-engineering :) Yeah, the manual should've included the third sub, rather than an implicit box illustration. Thanks, everyone! -Zak (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: Review: 7161 Gungan Sub

(...) Um, weird, mine makes all three subs. (goes to check) Yeah. It's so simple you're going to kick yourself. Take the front compartment, attach the propellor section - but don't put on the propellors. Then attachthe rotating tail section to that. (...)   Re: Review: 7161 Gungan Sub

(...) feel Thanks :) (...) I have seen that picture showing three seperate subs as well, so I was a bit confused when the sub I got didn't do that.   Re: Review: 7161 Gungan Sub

Just wanted to add my own little bit to the review (GREAT review, btw). I feel the same way about the set. It IS pretty durn big! But look out!
