  Re: Brickmania withdraws from Brickshelf

(...) I think this is an excellent idea. I think part of the confusion is that in the TOS of Brickshelf it states something to the effect of: "this site is for pictures of Legos and pictures generally of interest to the community" i think everyone (...)   Brickmania's Gallery Updated - Brickshelf Pix Posted

I'm just letting everyone know that I have updated my web site's gallery to include all of the pictures recently withdrawn from Brickshelf. Most of them are military MOC's, but there's a lot of other gems and even some new stuff spread throught the (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.publish)

Re: deep linking on brickshelf (It's Illegal!)

Deep Linking is Illegal! According to recent press releases and court rulings, deep linking to a web site is illegal. (URL) have indicated that this is a major legal issue. (URL) course, all of this comes after a court ruling that said 2 years ago (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: deep linking on brickshelf

(...) Yep! That's the way I do it and it works just fine. For folders/pictures that haven't been made available yet you just have to be signed in as the folder owner to do this. (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: deep linking on brickshelf

(...) After uploading, you as the author can view each pic, then click on the pic itself. The URL in your address box in your browser is the deep link to paste in, I believe. Hope that helps. (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

  deep linking on brickshelf

I'm not sure how hard this would be to implement, but is it possible to provide a "deep link" link in each folder (or better yet, on each picture) that you could snag with a right click of the mouse and paste into your lugnet post boasting of your (...)   Re: Brickley Roscowicz Engineering launches web-site

(...) Hi, Looks good, btw the link to the spares page on the services main page points to bridges instead. Sadly you can't have the domain (URL) ;-). Building Research Establishment (my dad works for) has it, dunno bout copyright. TTFN Peter N (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Growing pains

(...) Snip I have followed the "controversey" on lugnet for a while now, and while I see the point that their is a certain level of censorship, all I can say is this: Brickshelf is a private website which has been opened for public use by it's (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Brickmania withdraws from Brickshelf

(...) Agreed. (...) Hmm. Made me think about that concentration camp spoof Lego 'set' that has been often debated here before (created by controversial Jewish artist Alan Schechner). Anyhow, the original quote I think Dan's referring to is pretty (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

Since Kevin is responsible for (as well as paying for) the Brickshelf website, there really isn't any good reason anything should be allowed to be shown there until he has (...)   Brick Trail Mouse Trail Effect

Hi! I am a bit of a programmer (emphisis on "a bit") and I used a cut and paste code from (URL) to create a mouse trail using ldraw bricks.   Re: Brickmania withdraws from Brickshelf
