  Writing A Proposal

I just borrowed this book from my local library. I haven't gone through every bit, but so far it's extremely helpful -- speaking here as one who's never written an official proposal. (at least not yet) Proposal Planning and Writing, second edition (...) (25 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.cad.datfest, lugnet.publish, lugnet.edu)

  Re: ???Question???

(...) Urg. It may not be obvious to those of you viewing this message with MS Windows, but the above message isn't ascii text (or ISO 8859-1 Latin-1, either -- even though the header claims it is!). It's Microsoft's non-standard [1] character set. (...) (25 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: MY SITE IS GOOD NOW!!!!

(...) Hi John! I'm no mecha fan so I can't comment on your creations (they look nice, though!). I just wanted to say that I get a "runtime error" on every new page I go to... it's pretty annoying :-\... I dunno how you can fix it, or what's the (...) (...) it (...) Yeah, PSP is shareware. The old version (3.11) was not crippleware, but the latest version (5, I think) will quit working after a month. Then you have to do some fancy tricks to make it work again. PSP is a wonderful piece of (...) (25 years ago, 8-May-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.general)

Re: I need a *cheap* photo editing program

(...) Personally, I only use the Gimp, of which I'm a huge fan. Gimp is free software. I've only used it on GNU/Linux, but I understand there is a Windows version as well. Here's a Windows version of Gimp. (Waring: I haven't tested this myself.) (...) (25 years ago, 8-May-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.general)

Re: I need a *cheap* photo editing program

(...) Paint Shop Pro is shareware... that means if you continue to use is you're honor bound to pay for it. 'Course, if you don't have any honor, you'll just continue to use it without paying. Kevin (25 years ago, 8-May-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.general)

Re: I need a *cheap* photo editing program

Easy! www.jasc.com <- Download the latest paint shop pro (It isn't that big). Simply save the zip file- then when the demo runs out of saves, or whatever it runs on, use add/remove programs to delete is. Or you can shell out about 70 dollars for (...)   I need a *cheap* photo editing program

I need a good, cheep, easy to use picture editing/creating program. I don't have anywhere enough cash to shell out for photoshop and I probally don't need that powerful a program. All I will be doing with it will be editing scaned pictures and (...) (25 years ago, 8-May-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO Maniac's Coolest Home Video Contest

Okay - I'm ready to finally 'fess up to the fact that, even though I'm an alleged adult in his mid-thirties, I've entered the Contest (multiple times in fact). I just updated my website, The Animated Brick Company Showcase, with a bit of information (...) (25 years ago, 7-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

  Re: Experimental Lego Site

(...) Make it whatever color you like. I get the feeling "Experimental Blue" could mean something other than the color of the site? I agree though about the tiny images. Make it all bigger so folks can see the detail! (26 years ago, 5-May-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Experimental Lego Site

(...) I like it! Now you need some Town Plan streetscapes, and some scans from other 60's LEGO boxes. Great site! Gary Istok (26 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Experimental Lego Site

(...) Cool design & logo. The text and thumbnails are kind of small at 1024x768, though, but maybe that's the effect you wanted. Not very blue, either, for a site with "Blue" in the title. Might as well call LUGNET "Blue LUGNET" :) --Bram [FUT (...) (26 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)
