  Rendering chrome pieces in POV-Ray

I can't recall having seen any LDraw models rendered in POV-Ray using chrome pieces, so I thought I'd show an example how it can be done. One way is to use one unique colour for the chrome pieces when compiling the model in LDraw. After doing the (...) (26 years ago, 10-Nov-98, to lugnet.publish)

(...) Ah, I just checked the LEdit manual, which only listed the first 16 colours... Thanks for the info! Fredrik (26 years ago, 11-Nov-98, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Rendering chrome pieces in POV-Ray

(...) I think I have mentioned this before, but don't remember if it turned out anywhere. I want a file in the LDraw directory that could be shared by various programs and utilities, let's say COLORS.LST. To begin with, it should be text based. 1. (...)   Re: Rendering chrome pieces in POV-Ray

(...) I had started work on a Windows-based LDraw rendering program when Paul Gyugyi announced he was working on LDLite (so I gave up my work). That program included a COLOR meta-command, so users could define/redefine the colors. It also included a (...) (26 years ago, 30-Nov-98, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.cad)
