Well, rats! Here someone else has come along and glommed onto my own concepts before I got them out onto the web. In my case, these approaches were driven by a Dark Age which covered the period of Islanders, so that I've had to pick up incomplete (...) (24 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) Confused. The hull is meant to be reminiscent of a galleon with its high castles. But galleons usually had three masts, not two. This weekend I finally sat down and started on my "Red Seas Barracuda". My original intent for the RSB was to use Red Beard Runner hulls, and build a ship using the BSB directions but using dark grey instead of black as much as possible, and red (...)
