  Re: Pirate game speed

(...) Hi Steve, Yes please do! :) I was just recently reading through all you have on your Pirate game site (actually still have a bit more to read through, which is why I haven't written yet). I'd love to host a game once I get a better (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Pirate game speed

Yep, it still takes too long :-) Every time I play it I knock more corners off and it goes a bit faster, but it's been more than a year since I *wrote those changes down* . . . I have to do that . . . especially with some of what's coming up next (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Pirate fleets

(...) Turns still took too long to process. The time to battle it out is also significant (perhaps for the campaign game, two shots should be taken per turn?). Going to port took too long. Running NPC ships took too long A 2nd GM would help a lot. (...) (23 years ago, 5-Nov-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Pirate fleets

Hello Klaas, (...) Tons! :) (...) Whoops, I knew I said something stupid. I'll shut my scurvy lips up. (...) Where are those times, when Pirates' boxes were colorful and with that lovely "Legoland" stripe in the corner... :( I'm blessing myself I (...) (23 years ago, 5-Nov-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Ranks

(...) No, I wasn't laughing at you, not at all. I was just making a pun--a highly developed lowbrow art form in English in particular, because we take our words from so many different languages. My favorite Polish term is "packzi." Mmmmmm! (Poles do (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Ranks
