defined lines between the rails and the forklift platform.)
And this is the same model after being run through POV-Ray 3.6 (Notice there
is no visible seam between the rails and the platform piece.)

Hi David,
The problem is a shortcoming in L3P. The way L3P adds seam lines is to shrink
the pieces by a small amount. How L3P determines what to shrink (since it
wouldnt be appropriate to shrink any subpart assemblies) may introduce the
error youve witnessed above.
