Help unsubscribing from news by e-mail

Hi, I'm currently subscribed to receive lugnet.space and lugnet.starwars by e-mail. Works a treat and I get lots of mail. However, I now want to unsubscribe (and continue reading by NNTP). When I go to (URL) and enter my email and confirmation code (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)

Re: NewbieQ: Authentication on lugnet news

Being the geek that I am I decided to let the computer be the solution. So last night I wrote a vba script that when run on incoming authentication messages will automatically authenticate them and send them back to the server. You can use the (...)   Re: NewbieQ: Authentication on lugnet news

(...) If you are logged in via the web interface, and post via the web interface, you don't have to authenticate. But, if you are posting via email or NNTP news, you have to authenticate. This is because we've had problems in the past with people (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  NewbieQ: Authentication on lugnet news

Is there any way to have my client authenticate to the lugnet news server using my lugnet membership login and password instead of having to manualy authorize each individual post. Do the regular members that post a lot really confirm each and every (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Re: Got a Question

(...) Thanks Hendo, but I've tried broadcasting to other newsgroups as you said but I only post in about two or three newsgroups at a time. Maybe I have to send them to a bunch more. Cheers! (*clink*) Dean (21 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Re: Got a Question

(...) Dean, the other thing you can try is this: When you first announce online images of new models, you can send to more than one Lugnet group. In this case, you could have posted in .town (as you did), but also .announce.moc, and possibly .build. (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)

(...) lugnet.general (URL) (...) Shure, this post is O.K. (...) Ahh, well, that's a case of classic newbie phobia. I'm no townie, but I can say that 9 out of 10 newbies get little or no responses if they are not some brilliant genius. Just keep (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Got a Question

Hi all, Even though I have been with LUGNET (I LOVE IT!) for quite some time, I have two questions. 1. Where are the best places for message responses in LUGNET, regardless of what theme (just general ideas)? 2. Do you think I'm putting this post in (...)   A newbie with a question

Hi all, Because I was so excited when I found a topic of one of my lego things, I forgot to properly introduce myself. So now I finally do.   Re: Question... very newbie.

Hi Dwayne and welcome to Lugnet. Of course I don't pay any attention to clones at all :-) but if I did, I would suggest you peruse the ot.clones group.   Question... very newbie.

First off, let me put on my flame proof suit... somehow I think I am going to need it.... *zips up the last zipper* Ok, I have seen loads of posts decrying Lego Clones as bad things.   Re: Your folks were so helpful... going to try again
