Has anyone made thier own weight bricks? My thought was to hollow out the bottom of a brick with a dremel, then fill it with BBs. And finally glue a plate across the bottom. Has anyone seen instructions, schematics, plans, rough sketches on napkins, etc. for custom electric LEGO parts? LEGO seems to be getting out of the electronics business, which is a shame IMHO. The available selection is quite limited (and pricey (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.mod, lugnet.parts.custom)

My contact has printed a couple versions and Jason's been making improvements to the files that give us better results. I'll have pics (...) (...) Using a BBB wheel would be the best starting point. I know that many of the train builders in Europe use the old spoked wheel, with a custom metal flanged tire added. High quality models don't have them because they don't need them, they free roll enough that adhesion due to weight is sufficient. IIRC slippage is more (...) Sorry for replying to my own post but I just thought of something that some of these wheels may need to incorporate.
